Man is the measure of everything. Just as the Vitruvian Man represents the maximum expression of the harmony of human anatomical proportions, the wines of the Leonardo da Vinci collection are the maximum expression of the harmony of taste and aromas of the grapes from which they are obtained, by following the Metodo Leonardo®.

Chianti

This Chianti fully expresses the characteristics of the Tuscan territory. This wine has an intense color, a fruity aroma of cherries and a round, velvery body.

Brunello di Montalcino

Vernaccia di San Giminiano

This wine, bearing the name of its grape variety, comes from the area of San Gimignano, famous for viticulture since ancient times. The delicate perfume shows floral-hints and its savoury taste perfectly matches with fish and white meat dishes.

Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie

With woodland and floral aromas alongside the unmistakable varietal notes of pear and melon. This is a rich, soft wine, with a very clear expression of the grape.

The purchase of wine was regularly noted by Leonardo in his shopping list, perhaps next to his incomparable multi-volumetric drawings and definitive marks.

As compensation for his supreme masterpiece, The Last Supper, on April 26, 1499 Leonardo received a gift from Ludovico il Moro: the ownership of a vineyard located a few steps from the church where he created the Last Supper. Leonardo's vineyard in Milan is in fact, as the crow flies, around 300 meters from the wall of the Santa Maria delle Grazie refectory, also painted by Leonardo.

It is thanks to his wine that Leonardo's greatest and most enlightening treasures are found: his humanity, his spirit, his soul, height, depth and sublime sensibility.
